"These ideals are something that need to be told to others to explain, each of these points need to be scientifically figured out, it is all well and good saying that we have enough resources to do things but how will we create the water systems to all that need it, does the fact we "need" money to do things limit our consumption even though progress is slower, how will we prioritise things, is there a list of basic needs maybe something similar to maslow heirarchy could be used, i am so intrigued by this as i truly believe it is the only way to get people to think about what is important instead of having to worry about how to make money to get from one goal to the next, money limits compassion, which limits our societal developments..."

"Ok sono d'accordo con voi credo che un mondo senza soldi sia migliore se migliore sarà il modo di vivere di ogni persona. Penso che le cose accadino sempre un po alla volta come la natura ci insegna: il venire del giorno con la notte, il crescere delle piante... Quindi spero e credo che un cambiamento stia già avvenendo... molta gente forse io compreso, siamo offuscati dal denaro e dal potere che ne deriva avendone...Le condizioni generali vanno sempre peggiorando(lavoro, crisi, violenza..) quindi una volta toccato il picco(e ci siamo molto vicini) ci troveremo in un bivio: continuare e ripetere gli stessi errori con una società malata. oppure imparare dagli errori commessi per costruire una società sana dove tutti siamo in principio uguali ed abbiamo gli stessi diritti e poi dove chi è veramente bravo perchè no è giusto che emerga e che abbia più successo e prestigio (ma senza nessuna raccomandazione) Una società sana può se il popolo vuole"

"While I fully agree that the best hope for humanity's survival is to abandon the monetary system, I forsee great difficulty convincing those who are in political and financial power to accept this (after all the status quo is in their favour) and these are the people who we will need to motivate if the proposed charter is to work. I also forsee huge resistance on the part of religious conservatism (many of whom rely on boundaries of faith and race to maintain their powerbase). Unfortunately most of humanity is not rational. For these reasons I have added my agreement to this charter as a sign of hope that we will have an epidemic of sanity. However, I consider it more likely that as a race we'll only start to believe that growth and big business are not our salvation when that fallacy has been exposed when our civilization is brought to its knees by ecological disaster and a shortage of oil and other resources. I hope I'm wrong."
